Q: We are looking to have some fully automatic guns (post-’86) available for rental on our range, which would be fired only on the range with adequate supervision. Possibilities include a Kriss Super-V, Uzi or MP5. They have heard from a local NFA-exclusive dealer that if they were to do this, they would need to have a letter from local law enforcement explaining that they have this weapon only for demo purposes. They were under the impression that their SOT was enough to do this. Which is correct?
